Want to move, but too busy?

Want to move, but too busy?

Published: March 22nd, 2019

I want to sell my home but I’m too busy!!

This is a statement I hear a lot....working hard, maybe shift work at the hospital, children to sort, home to run, cleaning, tidying, washing and somewhere having 5 minutes peace to enjoy a glass of wine......

Sound familiar?

We all know day to day life gets in the way, but what if it didn’t have to get in the way of you selling your home and moving to your dream home.

We understand how busy life is so we do everything we can to help you.

Sounds to good to be true?

It’s not. It’s just teamwork.

For example: in a restaurant you’ll see the waitress straight away who’ll sit you down, get a drinks order and come back a short while later with the drinks the barman has poured. Menus delivered, your choices taken and a little while later the food cooked by the chef is served, and so on and so forth.

How does this work for you in selling your home?

All you need to do is to get your home clean and tidy (ish!), from here Victoria will dress and style your home ready for photography by Louise, making your home look it’s absolute best. After all, day to day living will not get it immaculate for every viewing but one big effort goes a long way with photos and attracting buyers, and showing them what it can look like.

Floorplan and EPC are completed by Marc and sent with photos to Julie along with notes from Victoria to write all about your home and lifestyle, capturing potential buyers imaginations. Victoria then sends everything to Ingrid, the graphic designer who puts together a brochure that you will be so proud of (you may not want to move home after seeing it!).

Whilst all of this is going on Lee prints the bespoke For Sale board showing off your lovely home, and Gary and Howard Print your brochures.

Your home is now ready to be shown to the world.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

From here, Victoria will conduct the viewings, including viewing preparations such as turning lights on, pulling curtains back, make beds etc. If you work shifts, just provide your shift pattern and we’ll work around this so not to disturb you when you’re trying to sleep. After the viewing you’ll get feedback until an offer comes in that you find acceptable.

So far, all you have to do is a bit of cleaning and tidying, view the houses you’d like to buy and agree an offer to purchase.

Victoria then chases the sale through, always recommending the best local solicitors who get a sale exchanged in approximately 6 weeks. There will be paperwork to read and complete and sign. Then you move. But this, if the purse strings allow can all be done by the removals (including the packing and unpacking!)....worth every penny!

So if you’re wanting to move, but need an extra pair of hands, call Victoria on 01395 275556 to find out your next steps.5_190322_091417.jpg#asset:1626138
