Topsham town, a popular area for local residents and holiday makers. Located on the Exe Estuary there are a variety of pubs, shops and cafes to keep everyone in the family entertained. Also found down on The Strand is the Topsham museum full of local history, and a lovely garden – check out the cream teas!

If boating is up your street, then this is a great location. There are some beautiful spots up and down the estuary, and a great pub called Double Locks, and the best way to arrive there is by boat.Topsham-estuarytiny.jpg#asset:1619183

The architecture throughout the town denotes the change of ages, with Dutch styled houses, up to modern and contemporary builds towards the outskirts of the town. Traditionally a thriving port for trading in the past including wool and cotton. There is also the old glove factory.

For many families, Topsham’s outdoor pool is a big draw, which you will find next to the communal tennis courts and bowling green. The other attraction for the town is the transport links including the Avocet train line that leads to Exmouth and the beaches in one direction or the cathedral city of Exeter in the other direction.topsham-viewtiny.jpg#asset:1619184
